Farmers Market - Lunch at the many outdoor food stalls May-Dec. - Festive uplifting atmosphere, great food and good value. Top choices: Macro Mama's (local, macrobiotic), Solaz (burritos), Sticky rice (Lao/thai) and much more. Steamboat landing, by the lake, off Hwy 13, Northwest side of town, 273-7109

Juna’s Café – Great café on the Commons.   Good vegetarian/vegan food and dessert choices 256-4292

Wegman’s Deli- Huge 24/7 supermarket has pretty nice dining area and large natural foods and organic produce sections. Wide-ranging Deli includes great vegetarian buffet, Chinese buffet, salad station, sushi, Mediterranean bar, etc. Set back from Hwy 13 S/ Meadow St

Boatyard Grill - Great waterfront location, excellent grilled foods, contemporary American menu, no veggie main dishes, but excellent pasta/veggie dish upon request. No reservations, long-ish waits for outdoor dining, unless early On Inlet Island, 525 Taughannock Blvd./Hwy 89   256-2628

Kyushu – Japanese, Sushi & Hibachi- The hibachi grill is great theater, esp. for family dining, (though not cheap-$8 kids, $12 -vegs , $15 and up- other). 2300 N.Triphammer Rd. , entrance area to Pyramid Mall , north of Town. 257-6788
